Musa Abdul-Mateen
Executive Director
Musa joins SCP after serving as the Program Director for the Men’s Reentry Program at ICNA Relief, a large national relief organization, where he led a reentry program dedicated to supporting those transitioning from incarceration back into our community. Musa has a demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams, directing programs, and fostering collaboration in both nonprofit and private sector settings. Musa obtained his BA in Business and his MBA in Project Management. While pursuing his Doctorate studies in Executive Leadership, he decided to commit his full time, skills, and experience to work in our community, serving those with long and life sentences. Alongside Musa’s professional experience, he brings profound personal experience and passion to the work, as someone who has the lived the experience of transitioning back into our community.
