Kenny Wyatt II

Board Member

Kenny Wyatt II was released from prison after serving 13-and-a-half years of a 393 month original sentence.  During the course of paying his debt to society, Kenny remained steadfast that regardless of his plight, he would turn a negative into a positive and would come out of his circumstances a better young Black man for his family and community. While inside, Kenny earned his AA degree from Seattle Central College, attained a trades certification in carpentry, and received his certification as a personal trainer.  In addition, Mr. Wyatt mentored younger inmates on self growth and productivity. SCP caught wind of Kenny’s case back in 2016.  As we worked towards filing a clemency petition, outside influences shifted our efforts to getting Mr. Wyatt home on a wrongful conviction matter. Kenny has proven to be a living example of resilience and is looking forward to his future.
