Research and Writing Specialist
Kaitlyn is a recent graduate of the University of Washington where she graduated with a double-major in Law, Societies, and Justice and Political Science. During her time at UW, she conducted independent, qualitative research that explored the relationship between hope and life sentences, as well as helping represent two individuals who went before the Indeterminate Sentencing Review Board. Her time spent in this work led her to intern for the Seattle Clemency Project before accepting a full-time position upon graduation. In her current role she focuses on implementing prison workshops, screening cases, assisting with legal research, and supporting the University of Washington’s Juvenile Parole Project.
